Oriole Resources is focused on creating shareholder value through the development of quality exploration assets.
Principal Activities
The principal activity of the Group is the exploration and development of gold and and other metals in West Africa.
Strategy and Vision
The Company’s strategic intent is to maximise shareholder value, through quality exploration in highly gold-endowed terranes throughout Africa (e.g. Birmian and Archean). It is focussed on early-stage exploration in Cameroon, where the Company has reported a Resource of 375,000 oz Au in the JORC Inferred category at the Bibemi project and has identified multi-kilometre gold and lithium anomalism within the district-scale Central Licence Package project. At the more advanced Senala gold project in Senegal, AGEM Senegal Exploration Suarl (‘AGEM’), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Managem Group, spent approximately US$5.8 million on the project during an Option Agreement period. AEGM is estimated to have a beneficial ownership of c.59% of the project, and discussion on the next steps is underway. The Company also has several interests and royalties in companies operating in East Africa and Turkey that could deliver future cash flow.
